AI-FIRST PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING ASSISTANCE

Patch vulnerabilities. Modernise applications with confidence.

PHP and Node.js security updates often start with a runtime patch. When legacy applications cannot safely adopt supported versions, WUUN offers AI-first professional engineering assistance for code upgrades, dependency remediation, testing and governance.

Two remediation scenarios. Different engineering needs.

A

Scenario A — Runtime patching

For an application already running on a supported PHP or Node.js release, upgrading to the fixed runtime and validating the deployment is usually sufficient. Application source-code changes are generally not needed.

B

Scenario B — Application upgrades & modernisation

Older applications may rely on unsupported runtimes, outdated packages, deprecated APIs or tightly coupled architecture. A safe migration can require code refactoring, dependency changes and regression testing. WUUN can assist with AI-first professional engineering, subject to assessment.

WUUN remediation workflow

WUUN remediation workflow

Based on WUUN’s four-step Brownfield workflow: understand existing code, assess impact, generate targeted fixes and validate changes with human oversight.

  1. STEP 01

    Ingest & index

Connect existing repositories, runtime versions, dependency manifests and security advisories; WUUN builds a searchable code knowledge base.

  2. STEP 02

    Analyse & assess

WUUN traces affected components and dependencies, assesses upgrade compatibility, and defines remediation scope and acceptance criteria for engineer review.

  3. STEP 03

    Remediate & test

WUUN updates application code and dependencies; runs builds, security scans and regression tests.

  4. STEP 04

    Review & govern

Engineers review code changes and test evidence, approve pull requests, and verify controlled deployment and rollback readiness.
